777 Avionics

The 777 uses avionics and systems software from Sim-Avionics which was developed specifically for the 777 by software engineer Mark Hastings in the UK. Mark and a few friends were building a 777 sim a number of years ago and found there wasn’t software adequate to their needs so he decided to write his own (as you do!). It became very popular among enthusiasts and soon gained worldwide acknowledgement, so much so that in March 2010 he teamed up with Flight Deck Solutions to market the product to their professional and enthusiasts customers. The other option for the 777 is Project Magenta.
