Picked up a used PFC jetliner USB column yoke from a fellow builder in Brisbane. Great feel with its precision mechanics and cast aluminium yoke handle. Take a look at the yoke section for pix and details.
A great idea for large monitor stands from Scott (XOrionFE) over at Cockpitbuilders using simple items that I bought from Bunnings here in Perth. Total cost of about $250 for 3 stands, not bad I reckon. Take a look HERE.
Also very exciting is Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3d, which is Microsofts ESP (Pro version of FSX) developed further for Lockheed’s flight test and training needs. Of course all FSX addon’s will work in P3D (mostly) so it’s an easy port over to this newly developed platform. Of course it still suffers the old code of FSX…

A new flightsim pc has just been purchased and in the process of loading and configuring. This is a belly buster i73770K processor along with SSD and GTX680 GPU. I intend running FSX, P3D and XP10 on this.
In a word “none”! Been quite busy with the Flightcity sim as well as Simulator Solutions Australia’s B58, both based at Jandakot Airport in WA.
